The R-ALF kit is a 5:1 mechanical advantage system. The master pulley (the R-ALF) has a built-in overspeed brake which will automatically engage to stop the freefall within a very short distance, if the user releases the control rope. This R-ALF auto-locks in both directions, making it an easy and safe device to use for lifting and lowering people. Suitable for heavy loads up to 250kg.
