Sundstrøm SR 500 Turbo Unit Complete

Battery-powered respirators to be combined with two similar Sundström particulate and/or gas filters and approved face shields, hoods and masks. The turbo equipment sucks air through the filters and sends the cleaned air through an interconnecting hose to the face shields, hoods and masks. Overpressure in the main part prevents contaminated air from penetrating. May be used for tasks, where common filtering respiratory protective devices are approved and for more than 3 hours per day. Li-Ion battery, either standard 2.2 Ah with a charging time of 1.5 hours, or heavy-duty 3.6 Ah with a charging time of 2 hours. Up to 13 hours of operation depending on the filter and the main part. Easy to operate since start, stop and other functions are performed on the same display with easy-to-understand symbols. Automatic flow control increases the safety and service life of the filters. Visual and acoustic alarm and vibration mode if the airflow becomes limited. Can be set to airflow of 175 or 240 l/min. Sturdy housing with good protection of electronic parts. Supplied with 2 particle filters.

IP67 according to IEC/EN 60529, EN 12941, EN 12942. Also available in SR 540 EX ATEX approved version.
